The Collective Goods Co. is a curated home & gift shop built around one idea: the everyday objects we live with should be beautiful, honest and made to last.
We started The Collective Goods Co. because we were tired of disposable home goods — the kind that look fine online and feel hollow in the hand. So we set out to build a small, thoughtful collection of the opposite: candles poured in small batches, ceramics thrown on a wheel, textiles woven and washed for softness, and table pieces cut from real wood.
Rather than mass-produce, we work directly with a small collective of independent makers across the United States. Potters, weavers, chandlers and woodworkers each bring their craft — and we bring their best pieces to your home.
How we choose
Every piece in the shop has to earn its place. We ask three simple questions: Is it well made? Will it last? And does it make an ordinary moment feel a little more considered? If the answer is yes on all three, it makes the cut.
Made in small batches
Because our goods are made by hand in small runs, no two are exactly alike. A candle vessel may vary a shade, a mug may carry the maker’s fingerprints in the glaze, a board may show its own grain. We think that’s the point — these are objects with a little soul, not products off a line.
Packed like a gift
We photograph, pack and ship every order ourselves from the USA. Each piece is wrapped by hand and ready to give — because so many of our orders are gifts, and the unboxing should feel like one too.
